Within the ancient Mayan world, hidden in a gem in the Pacific, lie the remains of the civilization that shaped the history of El Salvador. Collect memories of our ancestors with your camera and take a piece of Salvadoran history back to your country.
What will you do?
We will visit San Andrés and Tazumal, the cities that were once the epicenter of our Salvadoran heritage. You will learn about their origins and history accompanied by our expert guides, observe their unique architecture, and enrich your knowledge by observing their sacred altars.
We will also explore Joya de Cerén, known as the “Pompeii of the Americas,” to see how the Mayans lived day-to-day. If you are an adventure fanatic and a born explorer, this tour is for you.
To wrap up the experience, we’ll head to the San Salvador Volcano (El Boquerón) for a lunch break with fresh air and a view of the crater.
